Who cares.

The cowboys have been one of the younger teams in the league for a while. I remember getting in an argument on twitter with Bobby Belt about this a few years ago. He posted how the cowboys were one or the youngest teams in the league. I asked him “what does that matter if it never leads to a superbowl and there’s constant turnover in the league?”

He then called me foolish for thinking being young didn’t matter.

Fast forward 4 years. Where has it gotten us? Oh yeah. Nowhere.

Oh, IDK, seems to me like they fell for the old overrating the super bowl winning QB thingie. Hurts is nowhere near the 2nd best QB in the NFL. That's a casual fan thing.
As I said, I didn't agree with everything. No, he isn't.

But, I do agree that he elevates his game. Young man has shown great persistence & perseverance from where he was in college to where he is now. Gotta tip my hat to that.

I mean being young may not work for the Cowboys but I mean look at the younger teams. You will see a trend of them being good teams. Good teams draft well and replace them when necesssey. Not saying that’s the Cowboys but that’s what the good teams typically do.

And they were top 10 the year prior.
Maybe it’s time to move on from some of those older players.
It’s a safe bet that neither Lawrence or Lewis are going to live up to those contracts. It wouldn’t be that surprising if neither one even made it through the season.
As for Kendticks it’s addition through subtraction. You could fill his production with an orange construction barrel!
We dropped a 2nd and 3rd on Kneeland and Liafau… time to play them to determine if/when to move on!
That was w/ Hankins manning the middle and Armstrong playing a pile of snaps and DLaw at DE and Hooker/Wilson at S. Didn't Kearse play LB? There have been a host of changes since then. JLewis was at CB. That's like 6-7 changes right there. Gallimore was still playing quite a bit, albeit not starting.

Hurts is what me an my buds call "a football player". Goes and does the best he can w/ what he has. Lucky for him he landed w/ a GM who understands how to best utilize what he is. Hard for me to see through the blinding light of my hate for the Eagles, but I also like him as a player. Has elevated his passing game to decent, which he needed to desperately do. As long as the Eagles don't get stupid and let the D and RB walk to get him more WRs, he might contend for a while. Eagles would not be the same w/o Carter.

On Reddy Steward: Aggressive playstyle

Reddy Steward nearly made the Vikings’ roster and was a player they likely wanted to make the practice squad. He was an aggressive player on the outside and always seemed to be around the ball. His PBU on fourth down against the Tennessee Titans in the final preseason game really stood out as a positive play that could propel him to the 53-man roster. He can play multiple spots on the backend, and will be a solid special teams contributor. – Tyler Forness
On Trikweze Bridges: Unbelievable length

Bridges is a really intriguing player. Why’s that? His length is unbelievable, and it doesn’t shock me that the Cowboys valued adding a cornerback with his size. Bridges looms at 6’2 with 33-inch arms. There were highs and lows from the young defender in camp, but he did show off his ball skills with multiple interceptions. Bridges struggled in the preseason at times against downfield routes and against top-end speed. A position swap to safety could be in his future at some point, but Dallas clearly liked the tools he possesses enough to scoop him up. It’ll be interesting to see if they find a spot on him somewhere on their depth chart now to begin the season. – Adam Holt

Then why do you keep doing it?
What? You never talk football but your attitude. So?

That is all you attempt around a real discussion...what is your football message beyond crying?

Show an ounce of valid football merits beyond remaining on insult.

I demonstrate a functional knowledge of the game beyond crying every off season. You?

You really proud of your product. Now tell me about the Cowboys with our a single crutch of Jerry, Stephen, Coach, Dak Prescott, and a 30 description instead, of total failure... :flagwave: :lmao::grin:You a sport here?

I can be approached upon any positive topic. You?:starspin:

I’m sure Jerry really cares about what Diggs has to say considering how much Jerry clearly regrets giving him that contract.

Diggs shouldn’t be the one to speak for Micah because Diggs seems to be in Jerry’s dog house right now.

True, but I can’t think of guys on a HoF trajectory that got paid on their second contract and then wasn’t worth it.
I think he's a safe bet, same as CD. Both of them are obvious core players.

See, told you. Your only response is cheap insults. You are just a sad little dude who does nothing but cry when someone doesn't agree w/ you. Stop crying and man up.
