That was Tom Landry.

All those coaches would think Parsons was a saint compared to the morons they had to deal with.

Never gets in any trouble ........
But but but … the podcast

And member Tex? And Roger? And Golden Richards … I mean Bob Lilly?

The grossest part of this is the fans that are campaigning we ruin the next decade with bad contracts will be the first to post "Thank goodness he got that contract" if they get hurt and are never the same.

As if that player getting paid to not play benefits them personally or financially somehow.

That's player over team mindset and not something I can get behind at all.
So. You’d rather never pay anyone?

Any player can get hurt and never be the same.

I think he’s feeling cornered. Jerry went on three national TV shows this week and at each and every one said “I control Micah for three more years”.

When an owner says that about a player, that’s when players start to really start to act out. There’s not much else they can do

I’m surprised Micah is still continuing to be silent. I fully expected him to go on one of the big shows, like Stephen A, and respond to Jerry calling him out and trying to embarrass him nationally.

I mean Fox and Friends is Jerry leaning into his politics, but going on two typically player centric platforms like SAS and Irvin’s show to assert dominance is pretty much slapping him with the gauntlet.

I would have rather seen him go on a show himself than do what he did.
I agree. I wish he would have gone on the Irvin’s show or SAS. That would have been wiser. I would be wiser to break his silence and then act better.

We have 2 independent problems that are rearing their ugly heads and they’re head butting each other.

Independent problem #1- Jerry is trash and is shady, bad GM, bad negotiations, bad person in general.

Independent problem #2- Micah is immature and he’s acting poorly. He can’t act like this.

Micah is our best player. He’s our guy. He’s our Mahomes, Barkley, Danials, etc. The leader, the best player, the face of the franchise. He was eating nachos, sleeping and telling other team’s fans to call him.

What scares me right now is this is giving Jane Slater’s report that teammates were complaining to coaches about his behavior.

If that was Guyton eating nachos, sleeping on a table and his X-rays/MRI was clean as reported by the HC. Everyone would be screaming cut him now.

It seems to me that Micah has disrespected the Cowboys organization with his latest actions…who in their right mind sleeps on a bench during a game? What kind of message is he giving his teammates who look to him as one of the “leaders” of this team? Anyone who has watched the Netflix documentary on the Cowboys knows how much contempt Jerry has for people who aren’t loyal to him.
While I am no means a Jerry fan and have been critical of how he runs the team; I hope Jerry makes him play out his contract…this clown doesn’t deserve a new contract the way he is acting. If he wants to walk let him go;,sometimes it’s addition by subtraction.

Sure I would, but I wouldn't pretend I'm happy that they got paid then didn't hold up to their end of the bargin.

I understand it's taken a chance paying a player, but best believe I'm not gonna be happy I paid someone generational wealth to sit at home and be hurt.

One of the OTHER leaders should have said something to him
Great point…makes me wish the Cowboys had leaders to address these issues with Micah. This is just another example of the lack of any organizational culture; as well as the lack of accountability the players need to have to one another. Can you imagine Micah pulling his schtick with Bellichik, Cowher, Parcells, Jimmy, Reid, Vrabel or Campbell?

Agreed on all points except Jane. Jane is Stephen’s mouthpiece so I always take what she says with that in mind.

Trade his *** fir two first rounders choices and a good cornerback and tell him to piss off!

Didn't hold up their end of the bargain? By getting hurt?.. seriously dude.........

Only way you would be happy is if Dak threw an int with his first pass.. Micah gets injured and the Cowboys lose 40-0 to Philly.

You guys are mad weird being happy that some rando that cares nothing about you got generational wealth, got hurt, and left your favorite team in cap hell for the foreseeable future. I'm sorry, but I can't be happy about that. I'm a Cowboys fan, not a "insert player here" fan.

Player over team is weird.

Lol.. you're the weird one.. rooting for losses..

Didn't say anything anywhere near that.. You were saying about players holding their end of the bargain.. ridiculous.. injuries happen.

You get that the team IS players?

Why have any stars at all?.. may as well trade down with every pick and get a 100 players in the last couple of rounds.

Its not player over team.. it's keep your better players so the TEAM will be better.. especially when we do nothing in FA.

Kareem was a generational athlete as well.

You didn’t even know he was on the team with Magic in the 80’s. Lol
You sir are a moron. Kareem was possibly in the top 5 nba players of all time regardless of what current trends are. You suggesting i didn't know he was on the team shows you are a fool.

I copied from your own post.

you are right, Jabaar was in the 70s...... not the 80s

Honestly , the LT comparisons are very premature. I certainly wouldn’t have made them.

And I’m not saying Parsons is in that neighborhood. I haven’t even called him generational. I’m just saying that many analyst and former players I respect are.
No. You didn’t say that he is a generational player, but you seem to defend that notion.
