Exactly. The Cowboys have already made moves to suggest they are in win now mode. Letting this play out and accepting a 7 win season will not look good on the Cowboys front office. If Micah sits and the early losses start to come it will turn into pressure on Jerry. If the Cowboys come away with a week 1 upset over Philly thats a much different story.

Micah has been here for 3 years , he is a force and without him our pass rush is bit not that hot , but still he has not produced when mattered and pushed the needle in playoffs. He is going absconding in the later portion of the season , hence Team mgmt may not be willing to overpay , I can understand. but agreed either he should be signed or traded to put this away and concentrate on season. Marinelli was crazy and not a good DC , he was living off of the Tampa def days ( warren sapp etc ) , quick twitch on way to Qb only works if your guys are exceptionally good and the OL is blocking a man at a time. But zone blocking schemes stall his quick twitch personnel and throw them aside ( size difference) and bull doze with a big back then its moot . ( Remember that Rams beat down )

I hope Eberf dont make the same mistake, he is supposed to be some LB whisperer , so hope he turns our LBs to Sean Lee type and they fill the correct hole and tackle the RB.
