By spot start, I mean fill in at MIKE or WILL. Those are the only positions that get starter snaps in today's NFL. I was impressed at his play at SAM and when he was filling in for Durant.

He was the starter at SAM. Depending on the team and formation for the first play he started.

If you want to go by the top 11 snaps played then that is a different story but his name was called out on the starting lineups several times.

There's going to be a TE taken, possibly pretty early, and a lot of people are going to complain. This is a great year to get one though.

I sure wouldn't be 1 of those people. Depending who does/doesn't fall 3rd round seems like a good spot for it.
Derek Rivers and Jordan Willis come to mind immediately. I really like Willis.

I like both as well. I also like Avery Moss, Rivers teammate, too. Trey Hendrickson is also interesting...But I wouldn't go into 2017 season relying on a single 1 to play significant snaps. The guy I was quoting was making it seem like we could get a good immediate contributor at 60 or beyond. I don't see it in this draft class. Probably unrealistic in most draft classes actually.

I don't see much of a dropoff from Harris to Willis. I haven't watched Charlton yet. I am going to wait until the combine before I really get into it.

We aren't going to draft anyone at 28 who is going to start over DLaw, Mayowa, Crawford, or Irving. We can find someone that will rotate through Willis.

I'll agree to disagree on that. Harris isn't my favorite because I have some questions about his 3 down ability, but I think he has a different type of get off/burst than Willis is capable of. Just 2 different levels as athletes on tape in my eyes, but we'll see at the combine. A guy like Harris or Taco may not come in and start day 1, but they can still make an impact as situational pass rushers.
