Don't do this but!!!!! My wife made a great meal and I had to share with the CZ foodies. Slow cooked slice brisket, baked potato salad and parmesan macaroni!!!! Had my 83 year old dad and a few of my in laws over. Great meal and great day. Salud!!!

Good stuff, man! Our house... shrimp and sausage gumbo, white rice, and crystal lite lemonade (I double the packs.... Important.) to cleanse the palate. Savory, smoky, made with 2 lbs Louisiana hot sausage links and 2 lbs of 16/20 shrimp. Tasty.

Love this dish. Pork is my favorite.
The Wifey likes pork (heh) sinigang, but I'm a beef-eater through and through. Sinigang is like the Filipino version of menudo. It tastes great when you're sober, even better when you're drunk and is an absolute delicacy when you're hungover the next day. And by the way things are going, it's going to be a delicacy in the mornin', boys..

LOL! I've had some close Filipino friends and really enjoyed their family get togethers. My favorite dish though? Put it this way, I have pork blood in the freezer as we speak.

Oh boy...that dish makes its usual appearance in this house during gatherings. I've always called it "Pork blood stew", but my wife has a different name for it. I've never eaten it, and don't have a problem with meat or blood, but that stuff looks like chocolate in the end product...just unnatural. You're a braver man than I!
