With the regression of Doug Free, what are the chances that we potentially sign a guy like Nicks in free agency and draft Doug Free's replacement?

I think that Free's replacement is already on the roster. I watched Jermey Parnell extensively at training camp and in the preseason. He is much better that fans realize, IMO. I think he is equal to or better than Free as a pass blocker right now. Free is a little better run blocker, but I think Parnell is still in the process of building his body after being a basketball player until his senior year in college. If you rate Parnell vs the available draft picks, I think he would be the #3 rated OT in this draft and possibly #2.

Forget about NIcks, he's not going anywhere, he'll be franchised by the Saints..Free will be moved back to right tackle and Smith will move to left tackle..
