True story. I had a dream last night we traded all the way down to # 29. Surprisingly I remembered the dream as soon as I woke up. So, I checked who picked at 29. It's Washington. I guess that dream ain't happening.

It depends. I will start off with baked catfish. Collard greens and a baked potato as the sides. And a 24 ounce, ice-cold, bottle Coca Cola.

I will immediately switch to vodka if Jerry Jones does anything remotely stupid. The fifth will be resting nearby. No glass. Just gonna turn it up.

I am wondering if the Cowboys are going to be smart and go for solid picks or dumb and go for attention picks.

There’s something I could actually be impressed by tonight….

They deal back from 12 for extra picks and take Simmons.

Even though I’m not up for taking another OL high, it would give a glimmer of hope that maybe it’s a realistic plan of a 2-3 year rebuild and not trying to win now when they can’t with this roster.

Adding perimeter players that aren’t elite before your trenches are solidified isn’t getting you anywhere, but…that’s probably where it’s going…again.

So, in doing the math...since each team gets 10 minutes to pick, and Dallas stands pat at 12, we're looking at approximately 120 minutes into the draft. That's too long to wait!!

so, when we were 3-7 last year--if we decided internally that the season is over and each win hurts us ....would we be in a better spot tonight?
