Every year on the same day the area I live in has a Chicken Riggies festival. Pay $10 and go sample / judge the areas best Chicken Riggies from 15-20 different restaurants. This starts at 12pm and we usually hang out there for about an hour and a half. We'll get home, a couple of my buddies will come over and we'll pound down a few beers while we watch the first round of the draft. Pretty fun day and I look forward to it each and every year.

Saturday I'm doing brats and potato salad and on Sunday I'm doing hamburger BBQs, BLT salad and my favorite soda, Squirt.

My diet will suffer this weekend.

Not sure what I'll be eating but it will not be junk food, beers, and stuff like that. All water, and healthy eating for me at this point.

I have tickets to the Mavs/Spurs game that starts at the same time as the draft, so I may Tivo the 1st 3 hours (12 picks?). I'm torn on whether or not to even go to the game I like the draft so much....but it is really slow in the 1st round and no way we trade into the top 12 picks.

I think a lot goes on this year early though! I bet there are will be some dealing. Could even see Edwards, Quinn, Gonzales and other deals go down too. Maybe some tradinp up for Sanchez too.

In any case (at 3pm or later) I'll be grilling burgers and maybe some peppers and corn on th cob. Various beverages will be flowing.

Im on a diet so im going to try and have a bowl of cereal for breakfast.

Possibly nothing for lunch.

And when the draft is over i'll go grab a steak from the Local steak house.

I look forward to a full day of being in the chat room watching the draft unfold.

I will be starting the first round of the draft in the parlor enjoying pita bread with avocado and raisin dip. Then I will be moving to the den for round two where I will be having my personal chef’s signature chicken and rice wraps, and finally I will be retiring to my formal dining chambers for round 3 and supper, which will include lobster bisque and Dijon-crusted filet mignon. I’m debating whether or not to also have the rosemary-spinach salad with that; what do you think? Either way, it will just another usual Saturday in front of the televisions. :lmao2:
