Draft Day pet peeves

I don't consider it as whining when posters are pointing how the NFL is ruining the draft process. Is all of this necessary? Why don't they just announce the picks and be done with it? They are at the point of grabbing the homeless guy on the corner to announce the picks. Stop all this mess and they could be done in two days. If the NFL cared about the fans, they wouldn't have commercials every five minutes.
Great points. Welcome to the social media-driven generation my friend. Everyone has a voice that needs to get heard and if something’s happening, this generation needs to participate. It’s all about the interactive, viral nature of it all. And yes, it’s overdone.

That stated, i don’t think it should be done like ordering at the counter of the soup ****, either!?! Lol.

I generally dislike the whole draft day(s) experience nowadays. Its been turned into a dog and pony show, 3 ring circus. Better in the old days. Draft was Saturday and Sunday,...... that was it.

Yep, now it reminds of the Academy awards or something. They just had some Star Wars characters for the 49ers latest pick.

I just hate people saying a position is “fixed” or a pick is good or bad. The knee jerk reactions in general are maddening.
The mock drafts past that go past the first round are the dumbest ****.

Ive found that drinking an ice cold blue moon with a little glass of scotch on the side to sip on seems to get me through the whole draft process pretty good. :D

iT KAN have an affect on my spellin after awale tho.

What are the phrases that you hear related to the draft that get under your skin?

For me, when a draftnik says, "At the end of the day, this team is better now because of this draft class"

Well, of course, the team got better by adding players, right? I mean, exactly how are you worse off by adding talent to your roster?

Another one, is a cloaked insult toward a team. "Well, I'm really happy for this kid getting drafted at this point."

What that really means is There's no way this was a good pick, this player could have been available 3 rounds later. But.... uh.... I'm happy for the player!

How about your draft day pet peeves?
I hate when people say Draft Day Pet Peeves! That's annoying as hell..
