Trying to kill time before Thursday...

1. What is a draft pick that you hated at the time and ended up being right?
2. Pick you loved and was right?
3. Pick you hated and was wrong?
4 Pick you loved and was wrong?

1. Escobar
2. Zeke
3. Ware
4. Claiborne

1. Jaylon- still TBD but don't think so.
2. Zeke, Roy Williams, and Demarco.
3. Dlaw
4. Not sure.

If you hated Spears you were right.

I knew it was a mistake to give Marcus Spears a second contract, but he was a good player.

I thought he had bust written all over him.

And Bill Parcells wanted him before DeMarcus Ware!

1. Quincy Carter &, the entire 2009 draft class
2. Mark Stepnoski
3. Travis Frederick
4. Danny Noonan

Escobar was everybody. Seriously. Did anyone not hate that pick?
I can't say that I hated Claiborne, but I just didn't think he rated a pick that high at all. Maybe mid 20s. I shrugged it off because all the swells said it was genius. I don't know if I knew about the Wonderlic at the time, but that his purposefully flaking on it should have been a huge red flag.

2. Pick you loved and was right?
Zeke - I wanted a guy to capitalize on the Romo window. Zeke was it. Was I really right?
Zack. Not giddy, but he was so obviously the best value on the board, and I love top interior linemen. They're gold.

3. Pick you hated and was wrong?
I was disgruntled with the Fred pick. I loved the player, but thought we took him before we needed to.

4 Pick you loved and was wrong?
Byron. He's about the only pick I loved. He's been ok, but a disappointment. I loved him as a possible over the top FS, and he just didn't live up to it.
Devin Street. Ouch. He was horrible. At least he was only a mid round pick. His tape

The thought was that he could rush the passer. I think he put up 9 or 10 sks his senior year. But 2.5 one season was his best and he rarely stayed on the field for 3rd downs. Canty was a better player.

*Googles Danny Noonan*
7.5 sks his 2nd season.
Noonan was the Cowboys first 300 pound defensive lineman, he just didn't stay 300 pounds, the nfl started testing for steroids around that time and he lost a lot of weight and dropped to 273.

I instantly hated the 2016 draft. Hated the Zeke, Jaylon, Dak, and Rico pics. Ate crow on Zeke and Dak pics the 2016. . Last year a lot of people came back to earth on the greatest draft in NFL history.
