1st Round
1. Miami - 1-15 - Chris Long - DE - Virginia
The Dolphins need many things and Parcells may opt for two blue chip defensive linemen with Long the safest player in the entire draft process.

2. St. Louis - 3-13 - Glenn Dorsey - DT - LSU
The Rams will focus on defensive line early and Dorsey gives them an early impact defender for a flexible front line.

3. x - Atlanta - 4-12 - Matt Ryan - QB - Boston College
The Falcons are hoping this fine leader is on the board when they select so they can turn the page on the Michael Vick disaster.

4. x - Oakland - 4-12 - Sedrick Ellis - DT - Southern Cal
Veteran Warren Sapp has joined the retirement list and Ellis is flying up the charts.

5. x - Kansas City - 4-12 - Jake Long - OT - Michigan
The Chiefs offensive line has failed over recent seasons and Jake would be a great fit here.

6. NY Jets - 4-12 - * Darren McFadden - RB - Arkansas
The Jets may find this talented feature back available and would probably jump at the chance.

7. New England (San Fran - 5-11) - * Vernon Gholston - DE/LB - Ohio St.
The Pats are looking for a young impact defender on their aging linebacker unit.

8. Baltimore - 5-11 - Brian Brohm - QB - Louisville
The Ravens are looking for their future leader and Brohm would be a fine start for a new offense.

9. Cincinnati - 7-9 - Keith Rivers - LB - Southern Cal
The Bengals defense has struggled with young linebackers and Rivers is a well developed playmaker.

10. New Orleans - 7-9 - * Kenny Phillips - FS - Miami
The Saints defense is not at playoff levels and Phillips could be a difference maker in this secondary.

11. Buffalo - 7-9 - * DeSean Jackson - WR - California
The Bills are looking for playmakers at wideout and in the return game.

12. Denver - 7-9 - Jeff Otah - OT - Pittsburgh
The Broncos must improve their pass protection to be real playoff contenders.

13. Carolina - 7-9 - * Calais Campbell - DE - Miami
Panthers are looking for help on both lines, though FA direction will dictate early draft selections.

14. Chicago - 7-9 - Malcolm Kelly - WR - Oklahoma
The Bears may lose big play weapon Bernard Berrian in FA and this area would become a top priority.

15. Detroit - 7-9 - * Ryan Clady - OT - Boise St.
The Lions offensive line would benefit from a top flight tackle especially on the leftside.

16. Arizona - 8-8 - Leodis McKelvin - CB - Troy University
The Cardinals defense needs another top flight cover/ return man on a young developing unit.

17. Minnesota - 8-8 - * Reggie Smith - CB - Oklahoma
The Vikings secondary lacks talent and depth and they need to address this unit early this April.

18. Houston - 8-8 - * Jonathan Stewart - RB - Oregon
The Texans are looking to add a young stud feature back to balance this attack.

19. Philadelphia - 8-8 - Lawrence Jackson - DE - Southern Cal
The Eagles are looking for pass rushers to solidify their front seven on defense.

20. Tampa Bay - 9-7 - Mike Jenkins - CB - South Florida
The Bucs’ are looking to rebuild a playoff caliber defense especially at cornerback.

21. Washington - 9-7 - * Derrick Harvey - DE - Florida
The Commanders will address the defensive fine early with an impact pass rusher a top priority.

22. Dallas (Cleve - 10-6) - * Aqib Talib - CB - Kansas
The Cowboys have big problems at cornerback that could be addressed with one of their two #1 picks.

23. Pittsburgh - 10-6 - Chris Williams - OT - Vanderbilt
The Steelers hope to address their offensive line early in the draft especially at tackle.

24. Tennessee - 10-6 - Quentin Groves - DE - Auburn
The Titans could face big losses in FA here that makes this position a top priority this spring.

25. Seattle - 10-6 - * Rashard Mendenhall - RB - Illinois
The Seahawks' are looking to the future here with Shaun Alexander slipping over recent seasons.

26. Jacksonville - 11-5 - Kentwan Balmer - DT - North Carolina
The Jaguars could surprise here with a fast rising prospect that fits well on their front four set.

27. San Diego - 11-5 - * Felix Jones - RB - Arkansas
The Chargers may look to add this all purpose back with vet RB Michael Turner expected to leave in FA and LT entering his 8th season.

28. Dallas - 13-3 - Early Doucet - WR - LSU
The Boys aging receiving corps needs an influx of talent and they will most likely address early and possibly with one of their #1 picks.

29. San Fran (Indianapolis - 13-3) - * Earl Bennett - WR - Vanderbilt
The 49ers have the leagues’ weakest receiving corps and will look to address this area early and often to help Alex Smith realize his pro potential.

30. Green Bay - 13-3 - Antoine Cason - CB - Arizona
The Packers’ are looking to improve their playoff caliber defense especially with cover men.

31. New England - 18-1 - Forfeited their #1 pick due to the dirty Spygate caper.

32. NY Giants - 14-6 - * Curtis Lofton - LB - Oklahoma
Big Blue defense may lose two linebackers in FA and Connor figures late in the round.

I can't say that this is horrible, but i would disagree based on who they have on the board still when we pick.

If Mendenhall is still there at 22 i would want to grab him, and as much as i like Doucet...i have seen the reports that he is not a fast guy, and we need a deep speed threat. so if Cason was projected to go in the late 1st and was available as he is here, i would take him.

That would be my suggestion if it fell this way.

If that was the case, I'd rather trade up for McFadden.

I can't believe I actually said that.

Dont see how you wouldnt want Doucet, he killed ALL of the cbs at the senior bowl.

I'd be estatic with that. Then grab Chris Johnson in the 2nd. CHAMPIONSHIP

11. Buffalo - 7-9 - * DeSean Jackson - WR - California
The Bills are looking for playmakers at wideout and in the return game.

Uh, Terrance McGee and Roscoe Parrish are amongst the best KRs and PRs in the game last I checked. Agree that they need more players at WR, but special teams no. Sometimes these reports...meh

I like taking Chris Johnson in 2nd...but Id rather have Limas Sweed than Doucet

I like Doucet, in the 2nd round though... I believe Dallas should go with CB and RB in the 1st round. I like Mendenhall and Mike Jenkins.

I thought he got hurt in practice and didn't play in the bowl game?

Doucet's speed is deceptive. And he has great hands.
I wouldn't be upset at all with that draft, as long as we get Ray Rice in the second.
But I suspect that Baltimore will forgo a quarterback and then try to sneak back into the first round to pick either Flaccio or Brohm. I think the Cowboys could be a trade partner for a next year No. 1 pick. At least that's what I hope.

he did but all the reports before he was hurt was that he was "far and away the best wr on the field, nobody could cover him"

If Mendenhall is ther at 22 we should definitely take him. Hes gonna be a stud.
I dont really like Doucet either, doesnt seem to be close to an NFL ready WR. But I dont think we should draft a WR in the first either.

From all of the reports that have came out, we had mendenhall on the roster this past year.. His name was Julius Jones... I like the picks but i would much rather have DRC at 22 then Doucet at 28..... Doucet is Bowe the 2nd.

Agree doucet is gonna be good.

But your way off on Mendenhall, he runs nothing like JJ. Not even close.
