It does. You can easily see upcoming draft priorities by looking at who's contract will be ending soon or who may become too expensive soonMakes no sense.

BPA.. Best way to be.Based on the 53 Man roster today, what NEEDS to you guys see for next years draft? This team feels absolutely stacked right now with a lot of IR and PS guys to be excited about.
My assessment of Draft needs:
QB: None
RB: Day 2/3 Heavy Back
FB: None
WR: None (Bless you Tolbert)
TE: None
OT: Day 1/2 Guy to compete with Asim Richards AND Day 2/3 guy to compete with Bostick as swing tackle
OG: None (Bass and Ball looked solid)
C: Day 3 backup center with OG flex
DE: None
DT: Day 1/2 3T to complement Osa
LB: None (not with Overshown returning)
CB: Day 2/3 depth guy
S: None (stacked)
What say you?
It'll be time to start preparing for life without Martin and Lawrence. Although I suspect could also for for a top corner in round 1 if there are any on the bosrd.A few differences. I think Leupke will be the heavy back for quite some time. We have to see what Dowdle does but I think they will need a 2/3 round all purpose starting type RB. OT is always a draft priority so grabbing another Richards type makes a ton of sense. An interior G/C OL should be a high priority and may be #1 if you don't re-sign the center. DE will probably be a need for depth. There are some expiring contracts there. Depth at both LB and DT will likely be a similar need as well as an outside cover CB. Truthfully, QB, TE, WR, and S are really the only positions that don't look like they will need to be addressed.
Well thats you. There are lots of fans that enjoy discussing it year round. I dont know why you bother putting them downWaste of time and effort. IMO
Because it’s a waste of time. Players go up and down all year around. Then you have your draft slot so it’s a crap shoot who’s going to be hot on draft night.Well thats you. There are lots of fans that enjoy discussing it year round. I dont know why you bother putting them down

Gilmore is only getting $10 million this year. Players his age (33) aren't likely to get big multi-year offers. Diggs is getting $19.4 apy. Terence Newman followed around Zimmer on one year deals until he was 40.Odds are he won’t be back as they just paid Diggs and cannot afford two high paid corners with the pending contracts upcoming. They are going to need a future starter, where I believe Bland is much better as a slot.
I just don't see it. Dak will be extended, so will Lamb and Parsons will also be looking for his money. Decisions on Biaz/Kearse need to be made and the only big contract coming off the books is probably Tyron. Even if they somehow kept Gilmore to a lesser contract, he will be 34, they need to start developing another starter outside of Diggs/Bland.Gilmore is only getting $10 million this year. How do you know? You said "they need to start developing" and he is a 1st round pick just 3 years ago.Not the answer, more of a #4 type
You know why. Then why waste your time in this thread
NY is usually pretty on the money with his takes. My guess is they do get at least a little value out of him. That first game was really exciting to see him.How do you know? You said "they need to start developing" and he is a 1st round pick just 3 years ago.
DQ has something up his sleeve for him.
Damn you. This post makes me feel my age.Gilmore is only getting $10 million this year. Players his age (33) aren't likely to get big multi-year offers. Diggs is getting $19.4 apy. Terence Newman followed around Zimmer on one year deals until he was 40.
He was a 1st rd bust. Maybe change of scenery helps, but odds are against itHow do you know? You said "they need to start developing" and he is a 1st round pick just 3 years ago.

I seriously doubt he does. He is an awful CB, dont he doest fit Quinns scheme. That trade is nothing more than trading a guy you dont want to cut for someone elses guy they dont want to cutHow do you know? You said "they need to start developing" and he is a 1st round pick just 3 years ago.
