Draft options

Of course the top prospects suck! We have the 4th overall pick! If we win again there will be like 4 Suh's coming out, and 2 Andrew Lucks! That's our luck!

Sort of like the one year we had clevelands first round pick was the one year they weren't one of the worst teams in the league.

Evidently you didn't read the entire post. I said this is a bad man but no way not knowing his condition. I went on to say I do not like taking a lb with the 4th pick but if wentz was gone and jaylon was healthy he would be the pick.

Actually I did read the entire post.

"I have watched pretty much all the combine stuff all weekend. If healthy and wentz is gone then Jaylon Smith is the guy, I run to the podium. I do not like the idea of a lb with the 4th overall pick but he is a freak of nature. I personally think he is heads ahead of Jack."

Unless I'm completely misunderstanding you, you'd take him at 4.

Who is this guy Riot you keep talking about? I can't find anything on him.

He is one of the best guys in the draft in the last 25 years. He is so good, that he can throw the ball and catch the thrown ball for a TD. On defense, think the waterboy but 10 times better. He is even better than the most interesting man alive. We won't even need a coach. That is how good this riot guy is.

No I didn't mean it like that. If he was healthy then yea maybe but def. No not knowing his status.

Supposedly JAylon Smith has nerve damage in that knee and there is a chance he may never play again.

I don't think anyone is touching him until the later rounds.

Also, he took out a 5 million dollar insurance policy in case of injury.. I don't know if he still gets that money or not if he doesnt retire.

I think people say things like this without really thinking about the situation. The Cowboys have their own doctors. I can't imagine ignoring their advice if they're telling you this injury with nerve damage will make him highly unlikely to play again at a level even close to where he was at.

I think they said on the draft show that the guy who did the surgery on him was actually the Cowboys team doctor...so they, of all people, should know.

Then again...when they tell us a Cowboy player should only be out a few days, it turns into weeks and next thing you know they are on IR so...
