Yes ... it was nice to see a rookie acting like a veteran leader and then actually backing it up with his play.

I saw and felt the same thing. Frederick looked like he is going to be around a long time, and be the leader of the OL.

There's a lot of potential for the first four picks to all be starters within the next 1-2 years.

Don't sell Webb short. The guy is a really good corner. Holloman too could easily be a starter in a year or two.

Very, very good draft IMO.

I liked the draft and actually expect everybody to contribute this year. Not ready to call it a smashing success after one pre season game. I'll wait a while.

Something I like about what I've been seeing and I have to credit Garrett, is the overall attitude of the team. The team is starting to play with a lot more heart and ferocity and don't have that 'give up' or that 'finesse' mentality. When you see guys like Dez who don't go down easily, or Phillip Tanner, who keeps on pushing or you see defenders who rush to the ball and don't give up, you start to take this football team a lot more serious than some of the efforts we've seen in the past.

I supported the drafting of Frederick though a lot of people panned it. Originally I had mocked us to hopefully get Frederick and Cooper, but given how the draft shook out, I'm glad we got Frederick where we did. The guy is going to be a beast for us for a decade.

Escobar is also going to be a beast for us. He is going to develop into an all round tight end among being a receiving threat. For the first 10 minutes after this pick I didn't like it, but focusing on the 12 formation and how teams have been successful using it, I quickly regarded this as a great pick.

I can't wait until Friday to see Williams. I think the combination of Williams and Frederick is going to really show how smart this draft was compared to drafting Sharrif Floyd, but I don't think anyone would be able to estimate his worth on this defensive line. I think Marinelli knew exactly the type of guys he wanted, and I don't think Floyd was one of them. I can't wait to see what Marinelli could do with a healthy Spencer and Ratliff. Please be excited.

Why didn't you focus on how this team has implemented it and how that has turned out?

Where did you hear that?

And he might be more talented, but it will be really tough for him to be more productive than a guy like Robinson.

Terry Glenn was EVERYTHING we ever wanted in a slot guy.

Who is that word coming from? He has a long ways to go before I start forgetting about Robinson. Or Crayton for that matter.

Robinson yes, Crayton, no. For the amount of talent Crayton was surrounded by, he could have been Alvin Harper volume 2. Instead he added drops to a receiving core that could ill afford them and never play up to his potential
