Draft priorty

Much talk about drafting a WR with are first pick. If we select a WR at 12, he better be an absolute stud. We need a another WR but what we’re paying Lamb huge $$, can we really afford it? I’m convinced the regardelss of need we should be selecting the best available player, rds 1-3.
Im hoping for of DT, OT, MLB or perhaps a Stud CB. We need to run and stop the run first and foremost.
Or if we trade down get more picks then draft WR, Edge LB, or RB in round 1

We need to come out of this draft w/ 2 stud DTs, period.

Just not day 1. The best TE out there doesn't change this offense enough for a day 1 pick. day 2 maybe, day 3 yes if the value is there.
But only if we've already addressed the DT position w/ 2 picks.

IMO WR is a fantastically overvalued position that Dallas is currently heavily invested in with CeeDee. Its really far down the list on the holes to fill list. WR2 is only going to get a handful of balls thrown his way.
A dominant RG who, without injury, will play 100% of the snaps. Improve our running game and protect an aging $60M per year investment.

I'm not sure you can say it's overvalued we definitely need something better at wide receiver two they get plenty of targets I mean why do you think Cincinnati just paid both Jamar Chase and T Higgins literally top pay for both starting and a backup wide receiver why do you think last year san Francisco paid Brandon aIuk even though they had Samuels and other options on their team including a better tight end..

But let's touch on actual Super Bowl winner got AJ Brown and you got Devante Smith under large contracts and they have Dallas Goddard and they had Saquan Barkley all under contract now that's multiple targets of multiple weapons and they won the Super Bowl..

So now we're just talking about getting a rookie under a rookie contract he's well worth in your opinion overvaluing no he's worth picking high you think Sam Darnold would have been doing anything over there resurrecting his career at Minnesota without having both Jefferson and the young backup plus there was a 3rd option there and I think they have a pretty good tight end as well..

I'm just naming a few, last one.. And everyone wants to talk about how Gino Smith was a solid player made less money than Prescott was pretty good over there do you realize at one point he had Metcalf Lockett and that young stud they had three wide receivers over there as targets plus they had drafted a couple running backs although the running backs haven't become dynamic...

And this may be something for the other side of the argument, But even the Jets had Garrett Wilson And everyone seemed enamored about them going and getting a trade for Devante Adams...

So yeah if you don't have to go and give up multiple draft picks and big money and all you're doing is using one of your valuable draft picks to bring over a young stud at wide receiver to help your offense out then I don't see this as being overvalued I see it as a need.. Does it need to be in round one probably not but the best way to win both sides of this argument is trade down 5 to 8 spots then get your target because there's 3 to 4 really good wide receivers that have 1st round grades you don't have to pick them at 12 or you can wait and get one in the second round you can move around but saying it's overvalued and that we don't need one is insane maybe we shouldn't have used a 4th round pick on Mingo..lol But that's hindsight because if we had known that up front maybe Jerry doesn't use that 4th on him and we end up with Bucky Irvin here and now we're not worried about the running back position this year....

One of the best reasons to invest early picks in the line is the fact that they play a very long career and the hit rate on them is good. Its a safe, long term investment.
