Yeah seems that Combine recheck went really well on the 18th. I'm sure teams are now very optimistic he'll be on the field Week 1. So top 10 now seems possible, if not likely.

Wow. People really love this guy suddenly. I remember when it was thought that he would go until late 1st or early 2nd round.
Considering he has been injured every year since high school and runs with a straight up style I see his injuries continuing in the pros.
Player who are always injured in college are usually always injured in the pros.

True. But a lot of times, you don't really get the good info until the week heading into the draft. Folks have just been projecting since January based on perceived value. We'll now start to hear where teams are targeting specific players. We'll probably see 5-7 more names in the next week that will surprise where teams are targeting them...

This shows a complete game for Gurley. Notice he hurts his elbow in the game and I think his knee.
Maybe its just me but I am not seeing the burst, wiggle, or explosiveness that I would want to see.....He kind of runs like Demarco Murray? Just with more injuries.
Thoughts?

I'll believe it when I see it.

My exact thoughts...was getting ready to type just now ...lol

Todd McShay puts up what even he admits is a very far-fetched idea that the Jets would burn the 6th pick on him and 2-3 other bloggers jump on it and start speculating.

Never say never--hey, the Browns took T Richardson earlier than that.

I'll believe it when I see it. Still think all of these RB's are getting over hyped in terms of where they will go

I'm skeptical of what teams tell the media guys like McShay this close to the draft.

Many teams will hype players that they don't plan on drafting and poo poo players that they really like.

Very true. There's also a LOT of misinformation purposely floated out there...

If I was a GM or scout, I would not give McShay accurate information, especially this close to the draft. There is not doubt in my mind that the media rankings/buzz has some influence on the draft. I don't think it influences how teams rate players, but it does, IMO, influence where teams think players will or won't be available.

Do not want to see him with the Giants!!...and watch his Clemson game; his Auburn game was pedestrian compared to it. Some of the Clemson players that we're talking 1st 2 rounds wanted no more part of him by the 4th quarter

I've thought all along that the Falcons could take him. Anything before then seems highly unlikely.

I don't want ANY RB in the 1st if there are good, solid, CB's available

He's arguably the best player in the draft, everyone said all along if he wasn't hurt he'd be a top 10 pick. This shouldn't be surprising.

I'm skeptical of McShay et al.

I'm not skeptical that Gurley is a pretty special talent.
