I'm trying my best to see what most scouts see with Gurley, I'm just not seeing it. I see a good player, an early second round pick on talent alone, but injuries push him back to a mid to late second round pick.
I have absolutely no idea how draft analysts can look at the film on this kid and just ignore that he's had two seasons of injuries. 2013 was injury plagued and hampered his performance and 2014 an injury knocked him out for the rest of the season. That alone pushes him into the second round. No RB is worth a first round pick with that kind of injury history.
I'll predict this now: Gurley is going to be the high prospect player that slips in this draft. And no, he won't be going in the top 10 if teams are smart. The teams that are in the top 10 have bigger issues than RB; especially the Falcons. Then again, they gave up a ton for Julius Jones.
