Some early ratings are in and it was a Cowboys-Johnny Manziel night on Dallas-Fort Wort television.
The draft earned a 7.4 local rating Thursday on ESPN. The Rangers win over the Colorado Rockies on Fox Sports Southwest earned a 1.5. That’s a five to one advantage.
Nationally, ESPN reports it was its highest-rated first round ever at 6.8 That was up 48 percent over last year.
