From whats going on involving the Browns at the combine, it looks like the Browns are looking to cut ties with Johnny Manziel.

Jameis Winston is 50/50 on going through the drills, Mariota will go.

Abdullah has the highest fumble rate of all the RBs at the combine.

Gurley has the lowest fumble rate, 1 for every 180 carries.

If you sign Dez and franchise Murray if Gurley is there at 27 do you pick him?
Brugler: If Gurley is there at 27 thats my pick.

Garrett was asked about Randle, Garret had nothing to say at all on him.

Since 1978 Dallas drafted 2 RBs in RD1, Emmitt and Felix.

If Dallas is looking for a Murray type, Tevin Coleman could be the guy in round 2.

Dallas has been doing a really good job recently on trusting their board.

Whispers around the combine is that Alvin Dupree is only going to be working out as a LB not DE

Odighizuwa and Preston Smith are two guys who are rising.

A guy who would be a good fit for Dallas in Rd3 Grady Jarrett DT Clemson. Reminds of Aaron Donald.

Dante Fowler creating alot of buzz around the combine, and he isnt even there yet.

I dunno even know where he's projected to go but what about Jay Ajayi?

Dallas seems to like BSU players.

Doesn't Manziel look like an idiot.
Love Grady Jarrett
I'm not looking for rd and position anymore though it is hard not to prefer a pet cat occasionally

doesn't surprise me on manziel. i think the browns got caught up in the media and the hype of "having" to pick him that they did. the only drawback to him being released is it will start up all the "manziel to dallas!!!" crap all over again. only this time, there'd be some meat on that bone, unfortunately.

i'm a pretty vocal person about manziel NOT being a cowboy cause i hate his "money money money" "me me me" crap. that is NO way to win a team sport and his "i'll do it all" will get him killed in the NFL. but given all his issues, taking a year off to clear his head and "sober up" may not be a bad idea. i know the man is going through rehab and i wish him well. he found out the hard way the NFL isn't college, it's business. his moneyman antics are simply not going to work. he's not that good.

but give him a year off, let him take it all in, get sober, and try again. i just have a feeling once cut, he's going to sign somewhere (and unfortunately dallas is on that list) and i don't think that's a good next step for him *at this time*.

Cutting ties with Manziel would send the message that we made a bad mistake. People will lose their jobs. It won't happen. At least not for another year. He hasn't even gotten on the field yet.

I would tend to agree with you. I think Jerry would push hard for him and it would make for a good hometown redemption story to a lot of people. And who knows? If he's really had that revelation moment, maybe he can turn his career around? If it's little money and a #3 quarterback spot to start? I couldn't complain too loudly about it.

If they cut ties with Manziel, you know Jerry gets him. Despite his problems the Cowboys scouts still had him fairly high.

I kind of like Yeldin, but if I'm taking a RB in round two, Duke Johnson is my guy.

I don't want him in my locker room. I don't see the upside. He can't throw the ball well enough to ever be a legitimate franchise QB.

I agree. Cutting him when he is trying to get his life back in order would be a bad look. I would guess he languishes there for a year, then Jerry Jones swoops in on him in 2016.

I like the player, but I think if we take a RB, they are more likely to be a more physical runner who can take punishment inside the tackle box.

I can't say that I blame you for that stance. He not only managed to play poorly in Cleveland, but he led some of their other players (Gordon, Gilbert) astray along the way.

But I can also see him benefitting from a good example in Romo and a strong locker room. To say nothing of the change in scenery, playing closer to home, and what would quickly amount to a last chance to salvage his career.
