This gives Broaddus a little more time to memorize the names.

I agree with Helman, if Murray and Randle are both gone, then drafting a RB and signing a FA, becomes a must.

So much attention being paid to RB in the draft. Its almost like, Dallas is ready to move on without DM.

RB's were dominant in today's show. Gurley, Gordon & others top the list of preferred candidates if Murray is signed away.
There was talk of the tradeback in Rd 1 to be able to take a CB first and a RB second. They think that there are DL prospects
in the 1st 4 rounds that would be helpful do Dallas but that none will be there at 27 who would be day 1 catalytic starters.

With the news coming out about randle and his ex with protective order against him, I think it's a must to draft a guy early on even with Demarco back in the fold.

Brugler just blew past Abdullah as a not much prospect. I thought he looked good in the senior game. He seemed to really like Ajayi, Cobb and David Johnson.

Ajayi and Cobb are both Texas High school boys. Do any of you have some inside scoop on these kids? David Johnson is more of a 3rd down type to me.

Javorious Allen is a guy I am interested to see at the combine. He seems like a complete back.

The Cowboys may not have to do one thing about RB, its early.

They might still resign Murray. Even if Randle is axed, they still have Ryan Williams and Dunbar. Certainly, Williams can do a passable imitation of Randle, which leaves the draft for Murray's replacement. Certainly no need to draft and use FA for a back. One or the other, but not both.

Buck Allen is a great fit for the Cowboys. He's has carried the load at USC the last few seasons and has quietly put up outstanding numbers. He's a big back with deceptive speed.

Dunbar is a free agent too I believe.

Can we say Pet Cat? I'm waiting to see him at the combine.

Crazy thing is we don't even know what Dallas needs will be yet. LB, RB and DL have lots of FA deals to get done.

Yep, and even in May you never know 100%. Injuries often happen in training camp that end up creating an unexpected need.

It's funny, I hope Cowboys management doesn't think like these guys. Suddenly it sounds like they want to take a first round RB. That's not a good idea.

"Suddenly it sounds like they want to take a first round RB. That's not a good idea"

there is nothing but speculation on what the cowboys are doing from the media and us.

but I'm not so sure it's a terrible idea. Gurley will be a star in this league even if you wait
for a year.If the Cowboys take Gurley or not I'm good

Abdullah is tiny and had 24 fumbles in his career.

True but there are tendencies if you pay close attention to how the Cowboys draft. They almost always bring in those candidates they covet
for visits and if you look at their round 1 draft picks, they like to draft the best player rated at a position...any position and Jerry is willing to
move up at times to get that player. That could be DE, WR
RB, Safety, CB, LT, RT whoever is left who is no 1 rated at his position. If there are no number 1's left at their draft position, they will look
to trade back to get value.
