I don't study the draft like you guys do, but I am starting to see a bit of a theme developing about possibly moving down from #19. Ther may not really be a good fit at #19 available in which i would have no problem with trading down.
Incidentally, there may be more value to trading back. For instance, if Vea were on the board he would probably be a good pick. Some would also say the linebacker from Georgia (Smith) would also be a good pick. One or both may be available when we pick at #19.
Value wise though would you rather just have Vea or Smith OR the guard (Hernandez??) late in the first and the linebacker from Oklahoma? If it was Vea I might say just Vea but I would definitely rather have the guard and the Oklahoma linebacker over Smith.
You could also play tht same game with one of the alternate 1Techs. Vea will almost certainly be gone by the end of the first but one of the top 3 or 4 1Tech may be available as late as the 3rd round.
What do you guys think about moving back in this particular draft? If we move back in the first I could see us ending up with 4 or maybe even 5 players in the first three rounds if we chose to go that direction with all of our draft picks.
