If there was a sure fire franchise QB there St #4 then take him. But there isn't so take the defensive BPA at #4 and maybe a QB in the 2nd or 3rd. Leaning in the 3rd.

I want to win now and next year. We need alot of help on defense. Use that money to get another FA on the defense. It's a no brainer and it looks like the FO agrees. We'll see.

Yeah, taking a QB at #4 and paying him $5MM or so isn't that far out of line with what backups are getting. Sanchez makes $5.5MM in Philly. Henne is making $4MM a year. Daniel is making nearly $5MM in KC.
