That and Jason Garrett coming back puts us at a worst case scenario as a result of this past season.

Not a big difference in talent between 16 and 19 so I don't think it's anything to lose sleep over. For those curious the difference is essentially a 4th round pick based on the trade value chart.

If you list of the names of the more than likely guarantees before 19 were in a great spot. If we want a lb we will get one of the top 2. DT we’ll get one. DE we will get one of the RDE’s.

2016 NFL draft 16-33 who do want over Smith? I bring this up to remind you we evaluate well, and the only thing good that comes from keeping a staff in place for a long period, even if they don't win is consistently good talent acquisitions.

My post was based on the 100% certainty the Cowboys aren't taking a QB. If any of the top 4 QBs ate on the board at 19 I would take them.
But we all know they won't.
