Twitter: DraftKings Top 5 Offenses

Ok, then after 10 years and $60 million annually, with all the offensive talent that amounts to 61% of the team's salary cap, Dak should make the NFC Championship game. If not, he's a failure.

There is no more excuses. You can't be talent rich and go 7-10 again.
Can tell you are goofy because you made this about Dak and not the team itself.

Last 7 months the defense was invested in significantly more than the offense.
Exactly and they STILL want to add a vet defensive starter.
Dallas got lucky with all those offensive skill players hitting home runs on those draft picks.
Dallas has invested very little draft capital in offensive skill players.
They got a sweetheart deal for Pickens in trade and have focused heavily on both lines just missing with many of those picks.

They traded off Micah but reinvested virtually every bit of his cap allocation and trade return on defense.

Dallas hasn't won because they missed on draft picks along both lines, especially key ones like Guyton and Mazi; and has dome pretty terrible luck with Diggs injury plus Kneeland's untimely passing.
They also pivoted when Quinn left to a boring, dated defense just after the league was innovating away from that scheme.

Offense wins games.

Defense wins championships.

Guess which side of the ball our FO invests the most in?
I love how people have really strong opinions on things like this that are just so easily proven wrong lol.

Here are the teams who spent more on defense than offense last year:
  • Steelers
  • Giants
  • Commanders
  • Texans
  • Seahawks
It's stupid to model yourself that way, and that's why only rebuilders do it. Any team with a QB doesn't. \

I don't want to hear nonsense about the Seahawks. Outliers gonna be outliers. Doesn't change the point.

Spent is just not $'s it is also draft compensation as well.

I'd say we're 2nd for sure.

Prescott > Goff
Gibbs > Williams
Lamb > St. Brown
Pickens > Williams
La Porta > Feguson

Could even make the argument for 1st, but I won't.

I would agree with this in regards to our passing game. Running the ball is not top 5. The best offenses can kill you in multiple ways.

Sitting on a lead and eating up the clock with a dominant run game, takes an average defense to elite levels.

Not good or bad because it never happened.
As always, you are clueless. And as always, you will now go hide in your corner

  • 2023 season: 5th in points allowed (18.5 PPG) | 5th in total yards allowed
  • 2022 season: 5th in points allowed (20.1 PPG) | 12th in total yards allowed
  • 2021 season: 7th overall (11th in points allowed at 21.1 PPG) | Led NFL in takeaways (33)

I can pick a top 5 stat for any defense probably. Anyone who thinks the Cowboys had a top 5 defense in those years is crazy, or just trying their best to crap on positive posters. You’re the latter type because I called you out for what you are and you didn’t like it becuase you know it’s true.

We had a top 5 defense that created bedlam a few short years ago. How did that work out?
Thats the point.

Our offense is not good. It has all the stats during the season against a lot of medicore or bad defenses.

But against stiffer competition it falters. And it does constantly for a decade now. It is not a one time problem. This is a fundamental one.

We changed players on offense during that time. Heck the hole roster is a different one. We retired HCs and kicked promissing OCs and some more. Still the same fundamental problem.

We have discussions here for years if this or this group of players on offense is the best in the league or 2nd or third. So we always had very good talent on offense. Thats out of question. So that is not the problem too.

But look who is in the driving seat? Hopa! And in the best shape of his life. Not even able to take a snap under center but has still to go shotgun. And we even start discussions as if Aikman ever used shotgun. What a joke!

This franchise doesnt do squat when it comes to investing into the most important position on the field. And the results show on every given sunday. You can cry about your DT situation as much as you want. Thats all meaningsless kindergaden talk as long as the FO is not willing to do the important stuff.
