EPA per play is a pretty reputable stat. Rbsdm is also a fantastic free resource for advanced metrics, offering a ton of filter options.Come on man……

I'd say we're 2nd for sure.
Prescott > Goff
Gibbs > Williams
Lamb > St. Brown
Pickens > Williams
La Porta > Feguson
Could even make the argument for 1st, but I won't.
I just posted an amazing and positive stat as to how much better our D was in those 3 years, and didn't bother posting the last 2 because of how bad it was, lol. Go find a top 5 D stat for us in 2025; I am curious if you can find one because it was an all-time disgrace. Kudos for chiming in though bud. By the way, our D in those 3 years did not rank in just "any" category, lolI can pick a top 5 stat for any defense probably. Anyone who thinks the Cowboys had a top 5 defense in those years is crazy, or just trying their best to crap on positive posters. You’re the latter type because I called you out for what you are and you didn’t like it becuase you know it’s true.
IM ASSUMING you are talking about the QB. I mean, whew,.... those SEahawks went out and got a real QB in Sam Darnold and bam, SB win. I bet they win 3 more in the next 5 years.Thats the point.
Our offense is not good. It has all the stats during the season against a lot of medicore or bad defenses.
But against stiffer competition it falters. And it does constantly for a decade now. It is not a one time problem. This is a fundamental one.
We changed players on offense during that time. Heck the hole roster is a different one. We retired HCs and kicked promissing OCs and some more. Still the same fundamental problem.
We have discussions here for years if this or this group of players on offense is the best in the league or 2nd or third. So we always had very good talent on offense. Thats out of question. So that is not the problem too.
But look who is in the driving seat? Hopa! And in the best shape of his life. Not even able to take a snap under center but has still to go shotgun. And we even start discussions as if Aikman ever used shotgun. What a joke!
This franchise doesnt do squat when it comes to investing into the most important position on the field. And the results show on every given sunday. You can cry about your DT situation as much as you want. Thats all meaningsless kindergaden talk as long as the FO is not willing to do the important stuff.
Well if it is, I never heard of it until now. My point stands. Those defenses were not overall top 5 defenses. Yes, some random stat no ones ever heard of, but not overall top 5 defenses.EPA per play is a pretty reputable stat. How have you never heard of EPA? It is unequivocally the best metric for ranking units.Well if it is, I never heard of it until now. My point stands. Those defenses were not overall top 5 defenses. Yes, some random stat no ones ever heard of, but not overall top 5 defenses.
Defense?Offense wins games.
Defense wins championships.
Guess which side of the ball our FO invests the most in?
Sam Darnold is a more "real" QB than Dak? Lmao.IM ASSUMING you are talking about the QB. I mean, whew,.... those SEahawks went out and got a real QB in Sam Darnold and bam, SB win. I bet they win 3 more in the next 5 years.
