The 2011 Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama is being coached by the staffs of Buffalo Bills Head Coach Chan Gailey(South) and Cincinnati Bengals Head Coach Marvin Lewis(North). I’ve provided a snapshot of each prospect based on his practice participation. These snapshots are not a full evaluation and only take into account my observations from practice and dvd footage of each practice provided by Kevin Chavous of DraftNasty.com . The snapshots give an idea of a prospects athletic ability, instincts, how fast he plays the game and his ability to play to the level of the competition that he is facing. Each player’s measurables from Monday’s weigh in is listed and each is given a grade for the week. The scale is as follows:
A - Good week of practice; player played fast and showed playmaking ability
B - Above average; player had some noticeable plays and miscues
C - Average; player didn’t really stand out in a good or bad way
D - Below Average; player physically struggled with the level of competition
I - Not enough information
NORTH
Jersey Player Pos School Ht Wt Arm Hand Grade
10 Colin Kaepernick QB Nevada 6045 225 33 ¾ 9 5/8 A
Colin is an excellent athlete that stands tall in the pocket and has good set up quickness although he does not set very deep. He has a strong arm and has shown to make quick decisions. His accuracy and placement have been good and he showed the ability to anticipate receiver's breaks and got the ball out of his hand on time. Overhand throwing motion.
