Keep in mind that this is prior to the completion of the Combine.....and yes, I know that McFadden just ran a 4.27....but this is based purely on the teams top 3 needs and the best available at the need position. I did it this way based upon teams historically taking a player based upon NEED. For example....if we are set at QB, we won't take a QB in the first round...or even the second round.

Bash Away.

Team Needs

1. Miami - OT, DE, CB Chris Long, DE
2. St. Louis - OT, DE, OLB Jake Long, OT
3. Atlanta - QB, RB, OT Matt Ryan, QB
4. Oakland - DT, DE, OT Glenn Dorsey, DT
5. Kansas City - OT, DE, CB Ryan Clady, OT
6. N.Y. Jets - OLB, NT, RB Keith Rivers, OLB
7. New England - ILB, CB, OLB Mike Jenkins, CB
8. Baltimore - QB, CB, OLB Brian Brohm, QB
9. Cincinnati - DE, OLB, DT Cedrick Ellis, DT

Actually he got 4 right in the first round.

Meriweather to the Pats
Nelson the the Jags
Peterson to the Vikes
Russell to the Raiders

You're right. But from 3% accuracy to 12% accuracy, I don't think that's cause for celebration.

I don't think there's anyway Gholston escapes the Patriots. Especially since LB is one of their needs.

LB wasn't one of their top 3 needs at the time of this mock. It is now.

That's why I will be doing another one closer to the actual draft after the FA signings have all calmed down, etc.

TheCount has a point.

People make these asinine comments all the time. "No way X will be there." Then they say that about 30 other people, all of them who won't make it to us.

Of course it is possible he won't be there. Of course there are other teams who might be interested in him.

But when you sit down and make a mock draft, you can't put more than 21 guys ahead of pick #22. And when you start looking at it, it is entirely possible he will be there.

There are probably 2-3 CBs picked before him. And by 22, it will be a little odd for the 4th CB to already be gone.

So if you think DRC is for sure not going to be there, I'd love to see who you think is going to go before us.

VERY GOOD POST!
However I feel DRC could be the 1st C.B. taken!
Then McKelvin, then Jenkins, then it's a personal choice by what teams want what type of corner like the bucs want a tampa 2 cover guy more than a man to man guy, etc.

ANYONE CAN FALL TO ANYONE, need we rehash everyone saying NO WAY is this guy or that guy EVER gonna fall, remember how everyone sadi NO WAY Kevin Jones OR Steven Jackson OR Vince Wilfork would EVER fall the us, but not one, not two, but ALL THREE DID, and lets not forget Brady Quinn who NO WAY falls to us at #22, just can't happen, right?
Anyone can fall for many reasons!
The draft is the most inexact science of all time!
And if you don't think a few players we never even thought would be 1st rounder go before #22, just think NY JETS EVERY YEAR, don't belive me, here watch this funny clip they always show!

Dude, you need to learn in post in the same font and color as everyone else.

And not everyone is saying we're selling the farm for McFadden.

Sorry but i think everyone posts way too small. and i like the color blue. Didnt know there was an etiquitte. I have screen resolution to 1900/1200 not the regular 1024/768 like most people so everyone's font is really small

I have a 24 inch widescreen monitor too and I just bumped up the text size in my browser since it's too bright even at 0 brightness to get within 2 feet of it. And if you wanted to, you could also change the font color in your browser so all text on every site is blue.

To change font size, it's under the 'view' menu -> 'text size'. Applies to both Internet Explorer and Firefox.

And the keyboard/mouse shortcut for the same effect is to hold down the ctrl key while moving the mouse wheel up or down.

I'm not running 1024 x 768 either, and I can understand if you think the font is small. But how does adjusting your font and color change the fact that you can't read other peoples posts? It just makes what you say bigger than everyone else.

You should be changing your browser setting, not your personal font size. Instead it looks like you're trying to draw special attention to your own posts because somehow what you have to say deserves to be read more than anyone else.

That may not be your intent, but that's how it comes across.

who knows maybe there is some freudian truth to what you say, but in my defense my thought process is if its easier for me to read then it is easier for everyone else to read also. In my opinion just because someone stands out from the pack doesnt mean he is anymore important or what he says is anymore important. He just might like being different.

You know i never had someone be jealous of the size of my font
