Everyone just had Joe Thomas penciled it to the Lions at #2. They already have Jeff Backus on the left side and now add Foster to play RT. That removes any need for Thomas. Do they look at Calvin Johnson now? Brady Quinn?

adrian peterson or a pass rusher..?

who knows I dont think it will be a qb though.

They got Tatum Bell in the trade. Can't see them taking another RB especially with Kevin Jones coming back... sometime.

Yeah i know. I am just saying. I said this before but, detroit should take thomas/quinn or johnson.

I really dont see how they dont take a qb. They dont have one. They need one and I am contradicting myself because I had a memory lapse there!!

Because of what they have done in the past they will be crucified for taking a wr but this is the best one out there of all their previous picks.

They have to be looking at Quinn or Russell now. Unless they shock the world and take Calvin.

Man, Denver either loves Mike Bell or is taking a RB.

Not at all. They are taking Thomas and would have regardless.

Where will they play him?? Backus isn't going anywhere. He's a lock at the LT spot after the huge contract he got. And now they acquire Foster, a 26 year old former first rounder, to presumably take the RT spot. There's no place for Thomas.

They just locked up Furrey and have Roy Williams. Can't see them taking Calvin but with Millen, who knows.

Funny no one has mentioned how Denver becomes stronger on Defense. Whoa...not sure if we play them next year...but Romo betta throw some accurate throws!

Im with you on this one, that was my first thought. Screw Detroit they suck year in year out...

Geeze Denver has Baily and Bly...nice!

They never seem to have trouble producing a good o-line and a good rb either...

Williams played well at the other CB spot for Denver last year. I don't see Bly as being a huge upgrade as to what they had before Williams' death. Bly may be a little better, but not tons better. Dallas also does not play Denver next year and the Broncos still don't have a consistent pass rush.

I don't see them being any better.

They're still overrated, and as soon as an O-coordinator figures out that Chump bites on every pump fake he will be exposed.

And we don't play them next year unless its in the Super Bowl, but they're gonna have a hard time making Wild Card, so it's all a moot point.

They have a high first round pick.

So what if it is the only one they have on the first day.:laugh2:

Seriously I imagine they trade down.

Or gain extra picks from trading Portis.
