The National Football Post reports that Alabama CB Dre Kirkpatrick "did not interview well" at last week's Combine, and "came across as difficult to trust."

Take all stories like this with a grain of salt during the NFL draft "silly season." We just think it's interesting. Per NFP's Dan Pompei, one team representative said Kirkpatrick "did not explain his story well" when asked about his January 17 arrest for marijuana possession. Charges against Kirkpatrick were dropped when his friend accepted full responsibility for the weed.

Im praying we get Carr in FA . If we were picking in the late 20's maybe you take a chance on this kid or Jenkins like the ravens did last year with Jimmy Smith but not at 14 .

It would be interesting to track any payments between Kirkpatrick and his friend after the draft.

it seems to be more a given from many that Kirkpatrick knew what was going on. Which makes him a lot less appealing to anyone looking for RKG.

Yea:laugh2: :laugh2:

Don't like dre or Jenkins. IMO Carr is even more valuable to us because of those two knuckleheads.

Agreed. So are all those CBs projected in the late 1st - early second.

Drafting DeCastro seems more and more the right move.
