Drew Brees gets too much of a free pass

Nobody ever talks about Joe Namath having more career picks than TD passes. They talk about him putting the AFL on the map and winning a SB.

No when Romo wins a ring they'll find a way to discredit him.

I'm not so sure. There are obviously plenty of Cowboys haters out there and that will go against him a little bit.

However, with how bad this defense has been recently, combined with the Cowboys performance the past few years when Romo has been injured has actually clued most people in to the fact that Romo has been carrying this team for awhile. He actually gets a decent amount of respect already from many unbiased members of the media, mostly quarterbacks.

You can look at this board as an example. The past two years have been the least divided fans have been towards Romo. (Replaced by questions about his health.) I have friend that told me a couple of years ago that the only cowboy he didn't like was Romo. He thought the Cowboys would be better without him even going as far as to say they should start Orton after we signed him. He has since changed his tune.

Honestly, I want the Cowboys to win a ring not only because I'm a die hard Cowboys fan, but also because Romo and Witten deserve one.

Drew Brees has never been as good as he gets credit for, and now that the system they have is falling apart a bit, he's being exposed. He's been, at best, the 5th best QB over the past handful of years or whatever.

Drew Brees has been great since he arrived in NO, he is one of the main reasons that NO has been a contender for the past 8 years. He's a 1st ballot HOF'er.

As soon as Drew Brees is eligible for the HOF, he's going in, he will always get a pass for screw ups and rightfully so.
