Henson seems to be doing better now over there, however...I'm curious as to how that will translate into his effectiveness against NFL level competition though...hummmmmm.?.?.?

What base were you at in Germany? I was there at Bitburg AB from 1988-1991. Used to go to Ramstein and Mannheim and did my leadership course at Lindsey AB. Hey, remember Exercise: Constant Demo?

I was stationed there in Wichita - McConnell AFB from 1998-2000.

If anything it will help speed up the thought process enough for him to grasp the game speed of the NFL. I think that was one thing he couldn't grasp and deal with was the difference in game speed as he remebered it in college. He is facing live bullets not at the speed of the NFL but somewhere close and he can draw experience off what he did in NFLE, I think he was like a deer in the headlights because of the game speed.

ODawg, do you realize how many people on this board don't have a clue of what the Berlin Wall is/was? LOL

Berlin and Bitburg (Both Parents in **), he played for DP (I think), Spangdahlem 86-91 was just my mom. I played half a preseason for the Barons :D!

Off to Cruces, see you guys monday :).

Henson is a Cowboy and he's immensely likeable.

He is now performing at a high level overseas and should ahve every right to compete for the backup job. If he wins that job then its back into the QB of the future role he was signed for.

My dad was stationed at Hahn AFB...I have been at Mcconnell since May 98 till now

Oh yeah - Hahn Air Base, 50th Tac Fighter Wing...home of the F-16's. I was with the 36th TFW, Bitburg AB during that time. We had three squadrons of F-15's there.

So you're at McConnell AFB? What squadron are you assigned to?
