Do you have to exaggerate to make a point? He is out 3 games minimum, thats a big deal when your backups suck. The Oline is the key to this offense. All these skill position guys are going to be somewhat of a waste if there are no holes and Dak has little time to throw.

We are pretty much one inevitable Smith injury away from disaster.

Do you know for sure that Collins is coming back in 3 weeks? Do we even know why he went in IR? Seems a bit of a mystery. Out of shape, hip? What exactly is the problem?

Our backups are TBD on if they suck or can at least can be competent at right tackle.
Knight played last year in a pinch for Collins and Erving has started/played over his career.
We have another new offensive line coach, same guy who coached with MM in Green Bay. While I didn't think too highly of him in Miami as the HC, the offensive line in Green Bay got the job done without needing all 5 to be probowlers.

The offensive line was the key when Garrett was here. He lacked creativity and tried to win via the 90's method with trying to out talent every team. Line play will still be important, obviously. I feel better with MM/Moore having to scheme to protect weaknesses than the last coaching staff here.

If Collins was out on the boat, I doubt it was a bad injury and/or that in fact he came in out of shape.

Im talking about Erving. He isnt good. Now Looney is a good backup, but he is still just a backup.

Don’t let the negative analysis however concerning from the media and fans dampen your overly optimistic outlook for this season. Stay focused . Keep the blinders on .Fill your pitcher full of kool-aid.

We have a new HC who is bringing us all of the hope we need to finally winning another championship. And a QB looking to validate his value with doubtful fans and media.

No worries with an aging and history battered OL while losing 2 key pieces. No concerns with an unproven secondary.

The leagues best receiving Corp always wins championships. Jethro and his Cheapskate Son won’t derail the season
