I am. I feel as if McC is a legit HC. I was never a huge fan of his, don't get me wrong, but he is legit. I think that alone will improve this team tremendously.

I agree. I don't understand professing to be a sports fan at all if you don't believe in competition and the ability of teams to fight through obstacles. That's what athletic competition is.

But it definitely explains how we’ve ended up with so many Internet afar fans who have abandoned their local or regional team instead of Diehards who stand up on the mountain top or on a fan forum bashing their franchise while still supporting rooting the team on.

I tend to ignore both the extreme optimists and extreme pessimists. They're mostly wrong.

It's been tough under Jerry's reign, especially when JG was HC, as he'd proven to be subpar. At times I have no choice but to wait around, even through the years, for things to improve.

However, it appears we've now taken that next step!!!!! I'm not so much a fan of McC, but what I am a fan of is having a legit NFL staff. No, I do not believe we've had that for a long long time. Last legit HC was Tuna. Never liked him, but I can see what he was doing.

Jerry finally gave up and went legit w/ McC. I seriously don't see how it can be viewed as any other way.

I hope so. I'm just at the wait and see. More pessimistic than optimistic at the moment though. New coaches, new system, weird preseason. I assume if they're going to surprise anyone it'll be early in the year.

My bashing of Jethro begun after Jimmy left. It actually started before but I tolerated . And I still kept my season tickets until the new stadium was built.

That’s fine and dandy. I’m not disputing that. But as you noted we’ve been down this road before with no better results .

You think you are a die-hard fan because you say you have the guts to bash the team or it's fans on a forum???? Lol you ARE on the internet and if you read my post correctly you would of heard me saying it is very very very easy to post that prediction as you did. That is simply based on statistical facts and rules of chance. What you need to do is stand on the ledge, take a dare, and predict the rare even if it means you most likely turn out to be wrong and exposed to be so.

As far as me being a real fan, I have been a fan for longer than probably most here been alive. My "internet" or source of Cowboys information was reading sports section of newspaper everyday trying to catch any snitbit of write-up of the Cowboys, as there wasn't cable yet so unless you can say the same, don't even try to challenge mine or anyone elses fandom

Tremendously is a big word. Since we’ve been to divisional round in recent years I’d say you’re touting we’re going to championships with the upgraded coaching.
