Drool all you want, this RB is a master, tackle-breaking machine, with speed to take it to the house

Like it was Rico's fault that they would put Zeke in or try and pass the ball when they were inside the 10.
Bringing back Elliot was shocking.

Watching Deuce run last week was also frustrating.

He might be our best back and they refuse to play him.

You are putting that on Rico?
He had 235 carries this season. RBs are allowed to score from other areas besides the goalline.

His longest run of his career is 27 yards.

For how cheap he was, we got very good production. That said, I would look to upgrade the position.

It will be interesting what happens with Vaughn in the future.

I think Jeanty comps really close to Bijan.

-Virtually identical in size
-Bijan ran 4.46 at 215 lbs... I bet Jeanty slots right in there.
-Both were tackle-breaking machines, at like a superpower level.
-Both could catch, but it wasn't really their calling card.

Was Bijan worth the #9 pick? Whether you say yes or no, you probably feel the same way about drafting Jeanty.
Bijan and Jeanty are only similar in that they both play running back. Completely different players. I never got the Bijan hype.

Both stud runners but Bijan was a better pass catcher and run blocker coming out. Not a knock on Jeanty bc he is a monster but Bijan was a tick better as a prospect. Just more complete.

Not sure I agree. Bijan ran behind one the best college football offensive lines with 2 WR's that went 1st and 2nd round, and a QB that will likely be picked up respectively early as well. Jeanty has none of that, and with 8 in the box still dominated. Yes, Bijan was given more opportunities to catch, but I think that goes back to my first point above. As for pass blocking, Bijan was considered inexperienced at it, and it was not considered a strong point for him at all.

That’s fair - but he also played against way better competition so I’d consider that a wash.

Regardless - the OL and competition doesn’t change the pas blocking and receiving ability.

This isn’t a knock on Jeanty by any means - he’s an absolute monster and one of the best 5 players in the class IMO. I’m just saying if Bijan was in this class I’d have him over Jeanty.
