Really? What were his stats last year? The last thing Dak and this team needs is a ongoing distraction on the field and sidelines. We have a real OL coach, QB coach, and HC. This offense will hum, providing our RB shows up in 2016 form. Not the Pillsbury dough boy of last year. Defense needs work. Rod is gone, there's half the battle.

One of the biggies issue last years was receivers dropping passes left and right that cost the team TDs and first downs. If Dallas brings in Dez it will give Dak a consistent receiver that can move the chains on 3rd down.

Dez almost led the league in drops in his last season here. Lol. Do you watch football or just YouTube highlights? And this is coming from one of the biggest dez supporters on here. Let it go.

Supposedly Dez has been working on his route running and pass catching. I say bring him in for Training Camp and see how he looks during preseason. If Dez shows improvement, keep him if he signs for the vet minimum. If he refuses, drop him for good.

I don't think the answer is Dez. But I do think Dallas needs a tall physical wr that can catch the ball in traffic or a high pass out of the air.

Agree AC how could it hurt to see what he has in preseason . He is probably hungry enough now to do the things he should have done to stay on top before. Might surprise us .

Dallas is his only option at this point simply because Jerry has a bad habit of being every bit as sentimental as the average fan.

Had he played his career on any other team, nobody would advocate for his return.

so your answer for the team that had problems with drops is to bring in a player that in his last 2 years playing had problems with concentration and drops

There’s a reason why Dallas got rid of him. He isn’t coming back to the Cowboys so give it a rest. It’s a waste of time.

Yes he had drops but lets not forget a lot of those passes were not on target ie he had to make miraculous adjustments to even have a chance at catching. A lot of the drops this year were off target throws. Should they have been caught maybe but asking receivers to change direction in a split second because a ball is behind them is a bit much considering the physics involved

A bit much? Some throws were way off but a lot more throws were on the money that were dropped. The Green Bay game and cooper comes to mind. Gallup in the jets game. Etc. It’s not a bit much to ask these receivers to maybe change direction a bit. Considering what they are being paid. And the fact Witten was dropping easy catches for him says a lot more about the wr tight ends than the qb
