Is this a serious thread or just to bait people in the endless Dak back and forth?

Anywho, the Cowboys had 4 guys with 5 or more drops last year
CDL: 6 drops on 135 catches/181 targets
Pollard: 6 drops on 55 catches/67 targets
Ferguson: 5 drops on 71 catches/102 targets
Gallup: 5 drops on 34 catches/57 targets

Remaining guys like Cooks, Turpin, Schoonmaker and Dowdle had 3 each.
Hendershot/Tolbert/McKeon had 2, 1 & 1 respectively.

That is a hard graphic to stare at. Kansas City's receiving corps was criticized all season long. *I think* Patrick Mahomes' most dependable receiver was Travis Kelcie.

The Chiefs are sitting at the top with the most dropped passes. Dallas' receivers dropped six less passes.

Kansas City went all the way last season. Dallas stumbled into and out of its own stadium in the wild card round.

Dropped passes alone do not provide an obstacle for success.

Life can be so unfair at times. :(

The more passes you throw, the more drops you will have, so drop percentage is more important than drops.
Having some semblance of a run game will reduce passes and drops.
There’s some truth to this though it’s worth nothing the man who threw more than anyone in Sam Howell only had 29 drops.

True, but then you also look at the offense. How often are they pushing the ball downfield vs dumping short high percentage passes. Not saying that was it, but there’s a lot more to dropped passes tHan who had the most dropped.

Damn I didn’t realize the drops were that bad….and still put up an all pro season. Impressed.
Yep....still led the league in TDs and completed passes.
At some point, his critics are going to realize he is a dam good QB. Just need to shake the post-season slump and I think he will. Maybe not here but he will.

Yeah I honestly can’t say in Sam’s case they were letting him throw that football all over the field. I’d have to question what qualifies as a drop because if these are catchable passes not sure if I want to be anywhere by Chiefs.
