Dropping in

I still think Zimmer is next in line

Heaven help us if so

we've already been down this road, remember Campo? and Zimmer isnt even half the coordinator Campo was

that said, nobody has been impressed with Zimmer other than some fickle folks on here...all those college openings last yr and again this yr, how many times did we hear Zimmer's name? None...NFL openings last yr? Zimmer gets an interview, then gets laughed out of the building (Rams)

Blocked at work or not, I can't believe you didn't make more of an effort to join me this season psycho-analyzing TO, Chief. ;)

I've missed you a lot.

Happy Holiday to you and all those you hold dear, Chief!

PS Jeff Fisher, Jeff Fisher, Jeff Fisher.....

Hey Chief, Merry Christmas to you!

I'm more concerned with who we employ as a DC other than what we have currently. I'm also hoping that the next HC will allow the DC to do his job. They can both talk about game plan and strategies they want to use during the game, but on game day, let the DC do his thing.

Hey Chief buddy, Good to hear from you again. Figured I would "drop in" myself just to say hi to a good friend. I mainly linger on this board myself. However, I check into it about 3x per day.

Welcome back and continue posting!!!

If this happens, we'll have to put dbair on suicide watch.

I know the norm for you getting rejected, is laughing and mockery, but I'm not sure that happened in Zimmer's case

the coaching candidate is going to come down to whoever Parcells recommends, which I wouldn't be suprised that it be Zimmer, Zimmer, and a high-profile college coach or 2

Good to see you back Chief. About as close as cyberspace gets to a professional writer (and adjusted human being :D ) giving his two cents on a message board. Always a good one to read.

As far as the next head coach, with Jerry Jones, it's always an adventure. He fires a legendary coach, brings in maybe the best upstart college coach, then fires him after two Super Bowls, brings in a guy who probably should be sipping mai tais on the beach, finds a "hidden gem" coordinator, stays loyal to an assistant who has stuck through his "dynasty rebuiliding" and promotes from within..... and then.... when we least expect it, and think only a "yes man" need apply, brings in the most stubborn headstrong coach in recent NFL history, not to mention a legend who many thought was done with coaching.

Through all the memories, I think the craziest times have been when Jerry decides on the next coach of the Dallas Cowboys.

Good to see you Chief.

Can't say I agree about Miles, though. The guy is certifiably insane. I would have a very hard time swallowing him as the Cowboys head coach. I don't know if there's a coach in college outside of Weis that I would want helming the Cowboys.

Good to hear from you Chief, but I hope to God the Cowboys don't sign Les Miles.
