So, assuming we don't sign anyone this week, we have the Crawfords, Hayden and Irving that can play DT?

And out of those guys, only Hayden and T.Crawford are usually out on run downs, correct?

Irving reminds me of Jumpy Geathers. Geathers is the only DT I have ever seen lift up Nate Newton and walk him back to the QB. He was also 6-7, I believe. I'm not sure why he never developed into a perennial Pro Bowler; he was intimidating.

There was a report that Coleman was not even on a practice squad.

Bishop and Smith have 24 hours to pass through waivers. There is normally not an official signing until after the waiver period. If the are going to be signed to the practice squad that would probably happen tonight and be announced tomorrow.
