DT Malik Jackson released

I'd kick the tires.

I know our front office won't though.

I'd be stunned if they signed a DT this FA period, at least in the first 3 weeks of FA. They like Collins and Woods and think they can turn crap into gold at the DT spot.

They lost Irving and Collins is a part time player. It's debatable just how good Woods really is. DT is one of their biggest needs.

I don't want to start a thread for every player released but the Jaguars are also releasing Carlos Hyde.

I would not be surprised if he ends up as Zeke's backup. Reunite the Ohio St. boys.

Edit - I didn't see Alexander's post because I have him on ignore.

As an aside, I am really surprised and disappointed that Rod Marinelli is sticking around yet another year. I didn't see that coming if Richard stayed with the Cowboys. I thought for sure that would force Marinelli out. Which needs to happen for this team to take the next step defensively. Get his voice out of the personnel meetings.

There will probably be too much interest in him around the league and we probably draft too well anyway.

There is a downside to having Will McClay.
If he's still available in the 3rd week of free agency after Jerry stumbles off his battleship, he may kick the tires.

Otherwise, forget it.

Here to stick it again to you, stud.
