With this draft not being considered very good in terms of bluechip prospects - yet very deep in DT talent overall. Including the last couple years drafts - what do you feel the rankings would be for DTs top 8 using all of them? This is using PFF rankings from that year - top 80 and their ranking in it.

23 draft top DTs:
Jalen Carter - 2
Calijah Kancey - 14
Mazi Smith - 36
Bryan Bresee - 40
Keeanu Benton - 58
Kobie Turner - 79

24 draft top DTs:
Jer'Zhan Newton - 11
Byron Murphy II - 12
Braden Fiske - 44
Kris Jenkins - 50
Brandon Dorlus - 65
Ruke Orhorhoro - 67

25 draft top DTs:
Mason Graham - 4
Walter Nolen - 19
Kenneth Grant - 23
Tyleik Williams - 28
TJ Sanders - 37
Omarr Norman-Lott - 47
Derrick Harmon - 59
Darius Alexander - 64
Alfred Collins - 68

Generational
Jalen Carter

Guaranteed stud
Mason Graham
Byron Murphy

Solid starter
Derrick Harmon
Walter Nolan
Keeanu Benton
Tyliek Williams

Boom or Bust (could be ranked ahead of some of the solid starters, depending on your risk tolerance or bullishness on a prospect)
Johnny Newton
Calijah Kancey
Braken Fiske
Bryan Bresee

Wrong side of risk/reward
Ruke Orhorororo
Alfred Collins

Future Assistant to Rowdy
Mazi Smith (I hated Mazi's tape, thought he was a 3rd round prospect).

Any guy not listed is someone I didn't watch or haven't watched. Also, I'm surprised that T'Vondre Sweat didn't make PFF's list.

They had Sweat at 122 - I liked him a lot more than that, because this team needed size at DT. Basically said it all depends on his conditioning and weight.

Other names of interest for this year

Walker at 92
Phillips at 105
Pegues at 111
Peebles at 136
