Hill will be less impactful, if he doesn’t have a true NT to him. His body style & skill sets are similar to Kawan Short of Carolina.

ah...…………….didn't get a chance to watch the kid. Hasn't done much yet?[/QUOTE

Dont know xwalker said he hasnt made the stat sheet in 2 games but he is a true space eater, however he did play on the line with 2 other first rounders at clemson.

interesting comp drafted in the early/mid 2nd round.
hill has more explosive jump scores by quite a bit.
short is somewhat more agile in 3 cone though hill is better in shuttle
hill is a bigger guy 308 vs 299 at combine and hill played at 320-330 in college (probably needed to loose weight though)
if hill is similar to short in nfl performance, we would be quite pleased.

So do you think the kid is going to be a good one or what?
I'm not worried about him long term.

It's just a matter of how long it takes him to really develop.

I'm confident that he'll be a solid starter by game 1 of next season.

For this season, I'm confident he be a significant contributor by the end of the season.

What I'm unsure about is his readiness as of game 1 this season.

He is better right now that Daniel Ross, IMO, and Ross was on the 46 man game day roster most of last season.

Maybe Lawrence is a bust. lol over rated beneficiary of playing on the line with 2 other 1st rounders? Never know thats why takes a few years to conclude if a pick is worthy.
Yes, and tackle stats for DTs even in the regular season don't mean much.

yes for space eaters thats True. Im sure Teams wish AD would listen to the no stats thing and give back those 20 sacks. No i get it but you need to either eat up space or disrupt the backfield.

Lawrence was good. He was injured either injured or suspended his rookie year for 6 games. People forget that he came back in his 2nd season and had 8 sacks. He definitely flashed.

DLaw Rookie
- DLaw was injured his rookie season and started out on IR. He missed 9 regular season games that year.

DLaw 2nd Season
- Played LDE with Greg Hardy at RDE.
- Had 8 sacks.

DLaw 3rd Season
- DLaw was suspended his 3rd season for 4 games. He missed 7 total regular season games (4 suspension, 3 injury).

Pretty high praise. Lets hope so.

I was on the "draft one of those top safeties" group.

But if the kid starts to really impress by the end of the season I will be very happy.

Yes, so he showed promise in year #2.

@FuzzyLumpkins is correct.

He and I have often disagreed but I know that he actually reviews game footage himself to form his opinions.

I could list others like @buybuydandavis that often disagree with me but his disagreements are based on logic and like Fuzzy puts up a very good challenge when he disagrees with me.

You just don't like it because I proven you wrong when you've posted nonsense in the past.

I think the thing Fuzzy and I have in common is that we have a low tolerance for trollish type posters.
Lol, what? You have never proven me wrong. Fuzzy is not correct. If I had stated emphatically that you were wrong in this instance, and offered no reasoning why, then he'd be right. I merely stated my guess based on past observations. You have demonstrated poor analytical skills, so I assume you're analysis is likely off. I am not wasting my time on a PS game.

- Played 3-tech DT and DE.
- Did not play with Hill.
- Quick at DT but engulfed by OLinemen on some run plays.

is Wise

Exactly what someone that has no ability would say...troll-on.
Talk about your logical fallacies.

That's right on par with the whole..."claiming their innocence is exactly what guilty people would do."
