I know this belongs in the NFL Zone, so maybe the mods can move it over after a bit.

I post this as it could relate to DLaw.

Brown was facing a 10 game suspension for PED's. He got popped after a return trip from Mexico. Looks like eating red meat in Mexico, contains some chemical that will make you come up hot on a test.

He appealed and won.

One rumor I saw was one of DLaw's failed test was a prescription after back surgery. If legit, maybe there is hope he wins his appeal.

I agree. There appears to be enough to at least reduce the Lawrence suspension. It seems like the majority of the PED suspensions get reduced due to some procedural mishap, one way or another.

I was originally hopeful for the appeal, but recent comments from Stephen and Jerry lead me to believe there is little chance for a reversal.

Thanks for posting. There hasn't been a great deal of info given regarding his possible suspension or the incident. Hopefully this is a similar set of circumstances and he wins an appeal.

I think you are reading too much into it. They just don't want to comment publicly about the appeal. Privately they told FISH that they feel confident about his appeal.

I felt like it would always get reduced.. Would be nice if it gets whiped away.

I think it'll be a game or two eventually.

Gregory might not matter. The dude is built like a stoner anyway.

This has immense implicattions for all sorts of drug and alcohol testing!

I hope so, they just sound like it's a forgone conclusion even when commenting indirectly.

Who among us hasn't gotten our hands on some tainted meat now than then?

Years ago, I ate some tacos off a hibachi out of the back of a Corolla in Mazatlan. They were very tasty, especially after a night of drinking.

Well, I saw the "chef" a couple days later chasing after cats in an alley :omg:

I really want to believe he also worked for their local shelter!
