Paulus getting owned? How about a career-high 25 points, and if it wasn't for him and McRoberts, Duke would've been killed. I highly doubt that he got "owned."

And for everyone who thinks it's an upset, it's really not. If you just go by the names on the jerseys, sure...it's an upset. But I'm a huge Duke fan and anyone that has watched them knows that they are extremely young and they didn't have that go-to guy this season (i.e. players like Redick, Shelden Williams, Jason Williams, Shane Battier of recent years). Other than DeMarcus Nelson, everyone else was either sophomores or freshmen. So we will be back - I doubt that anyone is leaving after this year, even McRoberts (his NBA stock dropped considerably after this season in my opinion).

We lost because of 12 missed free-throws. VCU's pressure wore us down. All in all, we lost this game like we've been losing games all season long.

It was such a frustrating season, but at least the bandwagoners jumped off. We'll be back next year.

Now I have to go to work and suffer amazing amounts of abuse from people who hate Duke, but don't even watch the games.

how about maynard scoring all over him at the end of the game to win it? every pos. maynard drove against paulus and scored. never passed, never looked away. just drove and scored everytime. if thats not geting owned nothing is.

lol come all the duke excuses. he got owned and thats that. u dont think vcu players got tired? if anything they'd get more tired because they're the ones running the fullcourt press. and mind u vcu lost its only big man to a foul out.

and ill further remind you. at about the 2 minute mark. really no other vcu player got his hands on the ball. it was either maynard bringing the ball up and driving against paulus. or him getting the ball at the top of the key and driving and scoring. point being every result was drive and score.
