the thing is, he is a Dunbar/Sproles clone, has 4.33 speed and is flying under the radar mainly because that is exactly what the Cowboys want so he can land on the practice squad. HOWEVER, with Dunbar out for possibly the start of the season, Lawrence's value to the roster jumps way up. I would expect to see him rolled out for game 4, including increased special teams roles. He just could make a late break here and land the #4 RB spot on the roster. The clincher would be if he could return punts and kicks, but I am not sure about that.

That's what I was thinking, that they wanted to sneak him onto the PS, but realistically the fact that we haven't heard his name mentioned much during practice, well...I think that's a bad sign for the kid.

FYI: He did return kicks his sophmore yr, btw. Wasn't much of a threat.

Eh, 4.3 guys are a dime a dozen. Think Alexander Wright and Randal Williams. Can he actually play at this level?

These minor injuries are piling up. The one positive is they have mostly been minor injuries.

A lot of Cowboys fans are infamous for not understanding reality. They see a couple players get minor injuries and the sky is falling. They give no thought to average amount of injuries. They base their conclusions on perception and perception alone. Please don't bring facts to the table, they will just ignore them.

At the '13 combine no RB ran faster than 4.34, only 2 in the 4.3s. Lawrence ran 4.33 at his pro day. He was not at the combine.
