Doesn't make our DL situation any better.
I'm more worried about the DBs.

Interesting. For me it's the LB's.
I have little doubt the DL will be better and we get better S play this year thus making all the DB's better.
If they had 50 last year what does it mean coming into a new year? Not really all that much.
Beasley in the slot was just reported in the past couple of days. The story was probably written before that.I find this a bit odd: I live in Bandera, Texas. A small town five and a half hours from Dallas. I don't have a press pass, and I do not have access to the players. All I know about the Cowboys and the roster this time of year is what I read on the internet. I am not a sportswriter and don't even pretend to be. But, here is a guy who is a sports writer, getting paid bunches more money than me, writing about the Cowboys and he says that Beasley is only a slot receiver and NEVER goes to the outside position. I remember reading just a few days ago that the team has used some formations where Bryant is in the slot, and Beasley is split out wide. So, if I knew that, how can a "professional sports reporter" who writes about the Cowboys not know that? Fluff. He is just writing fluff and speculation and drawing a paycheck. Not to say he is always wrong, but he should have the facts correct before he speculates about contracts and rosters.
And, with that said, I will take my drunk self to bed.
Crawford McClain Melton Lawrence
That's what I'm hoping will be our starting DL week 1.
I'd like to see Bishop make Hayden an ex-Cowboy.
I agree with Archer on Durant. If he doesn't start, I don't know how much sense he makes as a backup. I think it's at least a possibility that it's starter or bust for him.
What's the win with Durant off the team? Perhaps this line of reasoning falls under reactionism, but with the poor luck the Cowboys have had w/injury, I just can't see them letting him walk to save a meer 1.25m. in cap space. 3m or more, maybe. But 1.25 is a pretty decently priced insurance policy in the NFL when you consider who might be available should injury strike again deep in the season and him already on another team.
