He will not always be a rookie. I agree it normally takes a season before a WR starts to show himself but I would rather get one today and have him see limited playing time and be fully ready to go in the 08 season. To wait until it becomes a must only puts us a year behind.

I agree also, but not at the expense of cutting TO (which rickster stated) to see if the wr drafted "gets it" by playoff time.

Granted, if Dallas were to get a WR I think they will slowly work him into the mix but he would not come in as a starter unless something drastic happens between now and June when TO bonus kicks in. At this time I fully expect to see TO back with us next season.
