Dwayne Harris To Giants

Dunbar stinks. He shouldn't still be on team.

The Cowboys really didn't use Dunbar last year except on a few screens. He's a nice niche player. He's not much more than that, but I wouldn't call him garbage.

What a ridiculous amount of money to pay to Harris.

Let division rivals continue signing guys to goofy contracts.

Yeah, I wanted Harris back, but on a special teamer type contract. They just paid him like he's a #3.

This is why the Giants went from Super Bowl winners to stinkers.

Are the giants the type of team we should be criticizing

Why not? Dallas has beaten them five of six times; and the only loss was in 2012 when Dez' fingertip landed out of bounds. Since 2011; the Giants' personnel moves have been terrible. The only good thing they've done is draft Odell Beckham.

Hell, outside of another miraculous 2011 Super Bowl run, they did barely anything since 2007.

This is the weirdest organization I've ever seen. How they go from Super Bowl winners twice in the past 10 years to jokes against right after is beyond me.

Lol what? Who are the upper echelon teams?

Seattle - beat them in their house and would've beaten them again in the NFCC game.

Green Bay - they had to steal one from us in their house. They don't want to see us again next year.

Indy - We embarrassed them.

I can make a case we're the best team in the league, and with a few sound FA moves and a solid draft I don't think it will even be close.

People forget our O line will be even better. They are young and growing.

Just want to say goodbye to Dwayne Harris. He was a very good Cowboy. Always played hard and excelled in a lot of areas.

I'm glad he wore The Star and I'll miss him.

Good luck DHarris and thank you.

Classy post.

Actually the Cowboys play both the Packers, and the Seahawks this coming season.

Dwayne was a good player for us. Now, he's dead to me- as are all ex-Cowboys who don't find homes outside the division.

He lost a step last season. Dunno if he was injured but he wasn't a threat with the ball in his hands.

Love watching these other NFC East teams make incredibly stupid FA moves. Its our division to lose next season, and as long as we got Romo under center.

The blocking took a step back but he certainly did not look as good either. Watching him run comebacks and slants, he cannot get separation or fight off defenders to complete catches.

I actually think we could be better this year while having a worse record.
12-4 is highly unusual ...but sure won't rule it out.
It's early...

When you actually step back and look who we have lost . . . .

1. Durant - Didn't play 2nd half of the season and injured the past 2 seasons. Liked him, but would not trust to give him much guaranteed. We won without him as well 2nd half of season.

2. Parnell - Solid back-up, swing tackle. We will probably have to draft another OT to develop to replace Parnell.

3. Harris - Good coverage guy. Played hard, but I think he lost a step (imo anyway).

Who we may lose . . . .

4. Melton - Well, I think he's replaceable. Again, ended season on IR.

5. Carter - I would like him back. Not sure what the coaching staff thinks though given that he was benched several games last season.

6. Ro - I would like to sign him back as well. But, on an incentive deal. Don't entirely trust the player/injuries.

7. Murray - He is the most important potential loss. Could hurt. BUT, there is the Draft plus maybe AP.

So, all in all, can we replace 1-2 LBs in FA and the Draft? I think so. Same for Melton. As for Murray, we have to hope we select the right RB later this year if he goes.

Good post. Thank you for posting this. I'm going to use it to remind me to keep my rueage under control.

They went from Super Bowl winners to jokes overnight because they had no business winning the Super Bowls in the first place.

If a person really wants to know the true definition of the phrase "having a horseshoe up your butt", just look at their last two Super Bowl runs.

I know Harris' value may be elsewhere but I'm pretty sure he'll be used more at WR in New York.
They run that 4WR spread offense a good bit.
