Hey guys, I know the Jarrett discussion has been on this board numerous times and I am NOT looking to start another (even though it will probably lead to it). Over the last week or so I have read and heard on numerous occassions that the Dallas Cowboys really like Dwayne Jarrett- from Mel Kiper saying on ESPN today that he could fall to the cowboys at 22 to NflDraftCountdowns new mock saying we really like Jarrett as well. I just kind of would like to see how the majority of the board would feel if Jarrett indeed was our selection at 22 because to me it seems like a legit possibility. So a simple Yay or Nay is more than welcome. Most of us are already WELL aware of Jarrett's 40 time so lets please not have another slow 40 vs why 40 times dont matter convo.

I don't pretend to have all the stats, numbers or info on the guy, but purely based on the simple fact of where he got his training if you will, and watching some of his clutch catches, I can't see how he'd be a bigger risk than anyone else.

In short, YAY.

Yay, but it ends up how the draft shakes out. He's currently 4 out of 4 on my WR wishlist (1. Meacham, 2. Bowe, 3. Ginn, 4. Jarrett).

I'd be satisfied with any of those guys at #22.

Nay, we need help in the secondary more, we need pass rush help more, and I don't think he's as good as Bowe.

He is good, but looks more like a possession type guy than anything else. Though I think he is a good player, playing with all that talent at SC probably helped him too. I think he lacks the seperation speed you need at the next level.

But im just a fool on the itnernet, not a scout.

I would be surprised if he is what we're looking for at #22.

Nay.

Give me Meacham in the 1st if we go WR. I think he is worth the 22.

He'd be a reach at 22. Since Jerry says he'll take the BPA and not have any pets then there is little chance we take him at 22. He's fallen to around the 10th pick of the 2nd. I think he may fall further.

ok the thing is the difference between Bowe,Jarret,Meachem,Ginn.. isnt that big...though theyre all different types of recievers.. so if were going WR in the 1st we can probably get 1 of these 4 in a trade down so thats what i would want if were going WR in the 1st

nay, I think other then CJ it's a crap shoot on which WR will be a good pro or bust, I would rather them get a WR in the second or third, maybe Gonzalez from OU
