I believe he is a round 3 guy and I think he should be a target for us in this area if we haven’t addressed RB.

His pass protection needs work but everything else is pretty elite.

He converts short yardage, he produced in the SEC, he’s extremely elusive & explosive.

He is the type of back this roster needs.

I've seen him as a mid- to late-second-rounder.

Reminds me alot of Aaron Jones

Eh, the one listing I found for pass blocking had him rated 7th in pass protection for this class. Didn’t recognize any of the names through 6th but this is a fairly difficult draft to keep up with based on number of backs and multiple projections.
I put him more in the class of Kamara. Good production but he’s going to have to be paired with another back much like the Saints and lions have done.
3rd would be a good pick and hope Williams is close to the form of his rookie season until you can find someone better.
Depends on if they’re looking for a 20-25 carry back or a 12-15!

I like him, but don't love him. I think he's a rotational/3rd down back ala Bucky Irving. The Vols' offensive scheme (wide alignment) is a known thing that makes truly evaluating their RBs difficult.

I'd much have DJ Giddens in the 3rd round. 6' 212 lbs, 4.43 speed and played under Conor Riley at K-State or Brashard Smith.

I wanted Dallas to take him round 3 since the beginning of Jan . He can take the edge with his speed while you give Sanders a handful of touches per game .

Think Pollard but better .

Sanders? Eeeeew.

The only reason Miles Sanders is here is because we don't have a serious front office. He looks washed and was never very good to begin with.

Well the alternative is Williams who’s best is behind him or Vaughn who can’t be counted on to be a reliable back up NFL 7 or 8 touches a game RB . Unless someone is found as an UDFA in camp . Step up to the podium Miles Sanders.

The truth is there are so many good RBs in this draft class. I hope Dallas is smart enough to take 2 of them. It's a gift to teams that need RB helps this year.
It really is. I keep watching these RBs as people call them out and I do not see much of a drop off as you go down the list.

Of all the RBs, Hampton seems to have the best game speed. But we won't be getting him. :)

Henderson has the best game speed.

Henderson is basically Tony Pollard with Zeke’s blocking ability.

You're right, he's movin' too. I thought I watched all of these guys. I guess I missed him. He might be a little quicker than Hampton, but not by much.

The Cowboys tipped their hand that they were taking a RB early in the draft when they didn't re-sign Dowdle. That was an easily matched contract he ended up getting but they didn't care because they knew they were going RB in the first two days of the draft.

Which means we will be drafting need over BPA unless we get lucky.

The mismanagement of this team is disgusting. We're probably forcing RB and WR picks. Doesn't matter what else is on the board.

I get the logic of being cheaper with Williams (not that its a sound idea), but whats the point of Miles Sanders? Id take one of Dowdle over two of Williams/Sanders

Here’s all I ask….

Trade down from 12 to gain extra picks, even if it’s into the mid 20s in exchange for a future first. They’ve gotta either find a way to gain more picks or be willing to find the cap room for FA. Take a defensive lineman, and a RB in RD2 or 3, not the 1st.
