wow. reading these forums makes me look forward to this game more than ever.
Im not tryin to be rude and since im new on this forum i dont know the history..but it seems like alot of the boys fans in this thread are guilty of all the classlessness they charge the philly fans with.
Isnt it more fun that these guys show up and talk banter with you?
The Eagles and their fans get no quarter with most Cowboy fans ... nor should they.
Maybe it's all the good cheer the Eagles and their faithful have exuded out to all of us Cowboys over the years that makes us feel this way.
Whether it be Buddy Ryan calling a timeout so he could run the score up on Landry's Cowboys ... the only game in Tom Landry's career when he didn't shake the opposing coaches hand after the game.
Or the perennially classless Ryan and the Bounty Bowl where he offered bonuses to Eagle players for injuring Cowboy players.
Or the Bounty Bowl 2 where the Veterans Stadium crew purposely left accumulated snow in the stadium so the ever classy Eagle faithful could hurl snowballs loaded with batteries and beer at the Cowboy players and coaches. The future Governor of Pennsylvania and future Mayor of Philly admitted to taking part in the bedlam that occurred that day by the way.
Or the standing ovation Michael Irvin received as he lay on the Veterans Stadium turf with what turned out to be a career ending injury ... my personal favorite.
Or maybe just the all round good nature these bunch of fat, smelly, small bus riding hooligans demonstrate on a weekly basis.
And then you have Eagle fans (yep the same Philly fans who booed Santa Claus) come to a Cowboy board and talk about karma. The comedic value in that is of epic proportions.
But do go on and tell us how we should all be cordial to Philly fans again ... but this time do it with a straight face.
